Living room dimensions may vary but a small living room is typically either a 7 x 10 or a 10 x 13 area your living room may be smaller or a bit larger.
Pitched ceilings in attic rooms often have small windows so for maximum impact keep the window treatments unfussy. This is even truer in a small living room which fills up after putting just a few pieces of furniture inside. A simple roman or roller blind designed to fit snugly inside the window opening is perfect for an uncluttered feel. In many homes the living room is where families and their guests go to kick back and relax after a long day.
A mix of patterns and textures keeps small living rooms from being boring. The gold is a little over the top for my taste moving more transitional never look nice or stay wrapped correctly so i am toying with the idea of taking them down removing the rods and leaving. For visual interest choose a patterned fabric that s small in detail and complements the rest of the décor. Another way to make a room look larger is to hang the curtains up near the ceiling.
If you live in an apartment such as a studio space or a smaller one bedroom there may be no walls that define your living room from your dining area. Recently moved in and i am struggling with the valances on two high and small windows in my living room.
